“Paradise” (Season 1) is an eight-episode political thriller with a sci-fi twist, set in a post-apocalyptic underground bunker in Colorado. Secret Service agent Xavier Collins (Sterling K. Brown) investigates the murder of President Cal Bradford (James Marsden), whom he was sworn to protect, in the idyllic yet secretive community of Paradise.
Three years after a catastrophic “Day” ended the world above, Xavier uncovers a conspiracy tied to billionaire Samantha “Sinatra” Redmond (Julianne Nicholson), who built the bunker. As flashbacks reveal the apocalyptic event—a mix of volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, and nuclear fallout—Xavier’s quest for truth risks his family and exposes survivors beyond the bunker’s walls.
