“Grosse Pointe Garden Society” (Season 1) is a darkly comedic murder-mystery drama set in the affluent Detroit suburb of Grosse Pointe, Michigan. Four members of a suburban garden club—Birdie (Melissa Fumero), a wealthy, self-destructive author; Alice (AnnaSophia Robb), a dreamy high school teacher; Catherine (Aja Naomi King), a perfectionist real estate agent; and Brett (Ben Rappaport), a laid-back divorced dad—find their lives entangled after a scandalous murder.
The series kicks off with the group burying a body in their pristine flower beds during the annual gala, flashing back and forth to reveal the messy personal struggles and secrets that led to the crime. As they juggle suburban facades and dark truths, their bond grows amid chaos, mistrust, and blooming deceit.
