Synopsis
Mother and Mom is a poignant family drama that weaves together themes of motherhood, sacrifice, and intergenerational bonds.
The story centers on a working mother, Ji-eun, who struggles to balance her career with raising her seven-year-old daughter, Yoon-ah. Faced with overwhelming responsibilities, Ji-eun reluctantly turns to her estranged mother, Hye-ja, for help. Episodes 1–3 introduce the strained dynamics between the two women as they navigate past grievances while trying to provide a stable environment for Yoon-ah.
The series explores their journey toward reconciliation, punctuated by heartfelt moments and subtle humor. Meanwhile, Yoon-ah’s innocent perspective adds warmth to the narrative as she bridges the gap between her mother and grandmother.
