Synopsis
A Minecraft Movie (2025) follows Steve, a struggling doorknob salesman who discovers magical artifacts-the Orb of Dominance and Earth Crystal-that transport him to the Overworld, a cube-based realm. After being imprisoned by Malgosha, the Nether’s piglin queen, Steve’s dog hides the artifacts on Earth. Years later, four misfits-Garrett, Henry, Natalie, and Dawn-accidentally activate the portal and enter the Overworld. Together, they must stop Malgosha’s plan to conquer the Overworld by blocking out the sun, leading to an epic battle where creativity and teamwork prevail. The film ends with the heroes returning home, inspired to build a new video game.
