Synopsis
A Shoulder to Cry On” is a poignant Korean BL drama that follows the turbulent journey of two high school boys, Lee Da-yeol and Jo Tae-hyun. Da-yeol, a dedicated archer with a scholarship, finds his future threatened after a misunderstanding in the school infirmary leads Tae-hyun, the charismatic but troubled class president, to spread a damaging rumor about him.
This incident sparks a series of antagonistic encounters, with Tae-hyun relentlessly teasing Da-yeol, deepening the latter’s isolation and jeopardizing his archery career. As the boys are forced into each other’s orbit, their relationship gradually evolves from animosity to reluctant friendship, and eventually to a tentative romance.
Both struggle with personal traumas-Da-yeol with the pressure of expectations and loneliness, Tae-hyun with childhood wounds and fear of intimacy. Through mutual support, they confront their emotional scars, learning to trust and heal together.
