Synopsis
In Antlers (2021), set in a struggling Oregon town, middle-school teacher Julia Meadows becomes concerned about her enigmatic student, Lucas Weaver.
As she investigates his unsettling behavior, she uncovers dark family secrets involving Lucas’s father, Frank, who has transformed into a wendigo after a horrific incident in an abandoned mine.
With the help of her sheriff brother, Paul, Julia must confront the monstrous entity that threatens Lucas and his younger brother, Aiden.
The film explores themes of trauma and survival against both supernatural and human evils.
