Synopsis
In Encounter (2021), Malik Khan, a decorated U.S. Marine, believes an alien parasite is infecting humans and endangering his two young sons, Jay and Bobby.
After kidnapping them from their mother, Piya, he embarks on a chaotic road trip to protect them. As Malik’s mental state deteriorates, his delusions blur the line between reality and paranoia, leading to a manhunt by law enforcement who suspect him of kidnapping.
The film explores themes of trauma, family bonds, and the struggle against unseen threats, culminating in a tense standoff with police as Malik fights to keep his sons safe.
