Synopsis
Invasión (2024) is a Spanish science fiction drama directed by David Martín-Porras and written by Guillem Clua, based on Clua’s own play. The film is set against the backdrop of an alien invasion of Earth and intertwines three interconnected stories: two prisoners from opposing sides locked together, three Spanish soldiers seeking refuge in a factory, and a married couple of scientists left alone with an imprisoned extraterrestrial. The narrative explores themes of trust and survival as characters from different backgrounds must learn to rely on each other amid the crisis. The film stars Claudia Salas, Fran Berenguer, Sofía Oria, María Adánez, and others. It premiered at the Málaga Film Festival in March 2024 and was released theatrically in Spain on June 28, 2024.
