Synopsis
Long Way Home Season 1 is a 10-episode Apple TV+ documentary series following actors and friends Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman on a 10,000-mile motorbike journey from McGregor’s home in Perthshire, Scotland, to Boorman’s in Surrey, England. Instead of taking the direct route, they traverse a vast loop through Scandinavia, the Arctic Circle, the Baltics, and continental Europe on vintage motorcycles. The slower pace allows them to immerse in local cultures, meet people, and engage in unique activities. The series captures scenic landscapes, personal challenges, and the enduring friendship between the two adventurers.
