Synopsis

Motel California is a heartfelt Korean drama that explores themes of love, reconciliation, and self-discovery. The story centers on Ji Gang-hui (Lee Se-young), a successful interior designer who returns to her rural hometown after 12 years. Her return rekindles her connection with her first love, Cheon Yeon-su (Na In-woo), a veterinarian who has never stopped loving her. Set against the backdrop of the titular motel, the drama delves into their shared past, unresolved emotions, and the challenges of moving forward. Directed by Kim Hyung-min and written by Lee Seo-yoon, the series is adapted from the novel Home, Bitter Home by Shim Yun Seo.
