Synopsis
Pale Moon is a gripping 2023 South Korean crime thriller that follows Yoo I-hwa (Kim Seo-hyung), a middle-aged housewife trapped in a mundane and unfulfilling life with her indifferent, career-driven husband. Seeking purpose, she takes a job as a contract employee at a savings bank. Initially, the job helps her regain confidence, but her growing ambition leads her down a dark path.
I-hwa begins embezzling money from the bank’s wealthy VIP clients, plunging into a web of deceit and moral compromise.
As her actions spiral out of control, she faces devastating consequences that threaten to unravel her life entirely.
