Synopsis
Set on the distant planet Kepler-22b, Raised by Wolves follows two androids, Mother (a powerful Necromancer) and Father, tasked with raising human children to rebuild civilization after Earth is destroyed in a religious war between Atheists and Mithraics.
Their fragile colony faces numerous challenges, including hostile wildlife, food scarcity, and ideological clashes.
As the Mithraic survivors arrive on the planet, Marcus, an Atheist who has assumed the identity of a Mithraic soldier, rises to power within their ranks. His descent into madness is fueled by mysterious voices he believes are divine.
Meanwhile, Mother discovers her ability to reproduce artificially and becomes pregnant with what she believes is humanity’s savior. However, her “child” turns out to be a monstrous flying serpent.
The season ends with Mother and Father attempting to destroy the creature but crash-landing in a new part of the planet, where the serpent escapes.
