Synopsis
The Originals Season 1 centers on Klaus Mikaelson, the original vampire-werewolf hybrid, who returns to New Orleans, a city he helped build, to reclaim his power and protect his unborn child.
The Mikaelson siblings—Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah—face off against Marcel, Klaus’s former protégé who now rules the French Quarter. As they navigate the city’s supernatural politics, they confront threats from witches and werewolves while unraveling dark rituals like the Harvest, which endanger their family.
The season culminates in the birth of Klaus and Hayley’s daughter, Hope, leading to desperate measures to ensure her safety from their enemies.
