Synopsis

The story follows Lin Ling, a PR employee who witnesses the suicide of Nice, the 10th-ranked hero. To cover up Nice’s death, Lin Ling is forced to assume his identity, gaining powers through public belief. As Lin navigates this dangerous new life, he faces threats from a rising terrorist group using fear-based powers and uncovers dark secrets behind the hero society.
