Synopsis
Viking Wolf (2022) is a Norwegian horror thriller directed by Stig Svendsen. The film opens in 1050 C.E., when Viking raiders bring a mysterious wolf cub back to Norway, only for the animal to slaughter its captors and vanish into the wilderness.
Centuries later, in the quiet town of Nybo, 17-year-old Thale Berg has just moved with her family after the death of her father. During a party in the woods, Thale and her friend are attacked by a monstrous creature, leaving Thale wounded and her classmate dead.
As her police officer mother, Liv, investigates the brutal killings, Thale begins to experience strange visions and heightened senses, hinting at a terrifying transformation within her. Liv’s search leads her to a werewolf hunter who insists only a silver bullet can kill the beast. When a hunting party finally confronts the creature, Liv uses the silver bullet to bring it down, but the horror is far from over.
Thale’s curse escalates, culminating in tragic violence and a final confrontation that forces Liv to face the devastating truth about her daughter
